TS SET 2018 (Telangana State Eligibility Test 2018)

Telangana State – State Eligibility Test (TS-SET-2018) is an eligibility test for the recruitment and promotions of Lecturers/Assistant Professors in Degree Colleges/Universities as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations. TS SET 2018 Eligibility Conditions

  1. Candidates who have completed or are pursuing the final year of PG degree in related subjects are eligible.
  2. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree.
  3. Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed on or before 19th September 1991
  4. There is No Upper age limit to apply for TS-SET examination.
  5. A candidate can avail any number of chances.

TS SET 2018 Online Application Fee and Application Process

Eligible Candidates who wish to apply for TS-SET-2018 may submit their applications through online mode. The registration fee of Rs.1000/- (for General Category), Rs. 800/- (for BC Category) and Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PWD Category) towards application registration and processing is to be paid through payment gateway (Credit card/Debit card/Net banking).

The commencement of submission of online applications will begin on March 14 and the last date for submission of Online Applications without Late Fee is April 14. Applications with late fee of Rs. 1500/- can be submitted till April 24, with late fee of Rs. 2,000 till May 4, with late fee of Rs. 3,000 (for Hyderabad Centre) till May 15. TS SET 2018 Syllabus

Telangana SET 2018 Question paper for Paper-I is common for all subjects in which SET is conducted and it will be bi-lingual (English and Telugu). Paper-II and Paper-III of certain subjects will also be bi-lingual.

TS SET 2018 Examination Scheme

TS SET 2018 Hall Tickets download

TS SET 2018 admit cards / hall ticket will be made available from 15th May 2018 from official website telanganaset.org. To download the hall ticket, candidates need to enter Application Number and Password. Hall tickets will not be sent by post to home. TS SET 2018 Qualifying Marks

Candidates who have appeared all 3 papers and secured at least 40% for General and 35% for SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) and PWD category candidates in all the three papers combined. Check Paper wise qualifying / cutoff marks are given here.

TS SET Results 2018

Top 6% of the appearing candidates who appear in all three papers and secure at least 40% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to General Category and at least 35% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories, viz., SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non Creamy Layer), and PWD will be declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor by following the reservation policy of the Government of India.
